Brian Bendahan is a Swiss composer and sound designer specializing in original music and tailor-made arrangements for film, artists, and audiovisual projects.
Active for over fourteen years, he has developed a distinctive aesthetic at the intersection of orchestral and electronic music, seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology into his creative process - from synthesizers and spatialization to immersive processing and advanced sound design. His approach, both narrative and sensory, always aims to elevate the image or enhance an artist’s musical vision.
In 2012, he founded ShiverLand Productions, a studio based in French-speaking Switzerland, where he composes music for short films, commercials, title sequences, and sonic branding, while also collaborating with bands to produce and orchestrate their albums.
Notable collaborations include several award-winning or festival-selected short films (Immram, La mélodie des cendres, Archeìo), the fiction series Le 5e Cavalier, as well as the official music for the opening titles of two Ice Hockey World Championships IIHF 2018 and IIHF 2025. He also works closely with artists from the metal, post-metal, and ambient scenes, crafting hybrid arrangements that blend orchestration, electronic textures, and sound design.
Today, he brings his expertise to musicians and filmmakers seeking to develop powerful, immersive, and emotionally resonant works. While music for picture remains his core focus, he remains deeply active in the independent music scene, with a particular affinity for projects with strong artistic identity.
